Earlier today, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! posted an interview with Bryson Richards, who used to do some road racing in the past and is apparently good friends with Leh Keen, which should be a semi-familiar name to anyone who has lurked around various sports car racing events in the last 15 or so year.
Keen has apparently made an older rally 911, and Bryson tells the story about deciding to make a Cayenne as a support vehicle for Leh at this rally events.
I actually was turned onto the story by Facebook. I’ve been in a couple Touareg groups for a couple years now and Bryson happened to join a couple of them along with some of his off road buddies over at Eurowise, all of them having gone out off roading together in groups of Touaregs and Cayennes in the recent past.
A couple of them had made some posts about some of the wheeling they had done in their rigs and then decided to make a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! dedicated specifically to off roading in any VW/Audi or Porsche. It was only started in February this year and is already approaching 3,000 members.
Video below!
Editing to add BONUS VIDEO:
Video from Forge Motorsports, same group of guys I was speaking of (and mentioned in a previous post of mine). You’ll note Bryson’s blue pig among the group here.

There’s that Atlas again briefly featured... and surprisingly acquitting itself quite well despite being a ‘lesser’ 4WD system (transverse mount Haldex).
Kinda makes me want to create a gen 1 diesel Tiguan and see what it can do.
